Bows and Bow ties, the fourth annual Daddy-Daughter dance, brought 159 people to the MaryLou Community Center in Truesdale for an evening of dancing, food, and fun.
The ladies had a chance to make a valentine, have their pictures taken with Cinderella and Elsa, and hit the dance floor with their dads.
“I think it’s important for dads and daughters to have time to spend together, just the two of them” Lisa Kramer, the Warrenton director of aquatics, said. Kramer and the aquatics center sponsored the event. “It gives the girls an opportunity to dress up as sparkly as they want and get treated to a memorable night.”
Kramer said she is planning a similar event for mothers and sons sometime in the near future.
