Faith Christian Family Church in Truesdale hosted its 10th annual Back to School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 10, donating school supplies, clothing and even haircuts to over 1,000 local students.
FCC Outreach Ministry Director Denny Gladieux said this year’s event was their largest yet, and they had partnered with Agape Food Pantry to supply the event. Students went through the giveaway with their families, waiting in a line that stretched around the building, to receive new school supplies including notebooks, binders, backpacks and plenty of other items.
Each student also received a new outfit for school and kids who were interested could also get a free haircut so they could look their best for the first day of school.
