Kathy Bridgette McBride (nee Shaughnessy) of Wright City, a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and dear friend passed away at the age of 63 on May 9th, at her home. Kathy was born on November 15, 1959, to Joseph and Pat Shaughnessy of Florissant, Missouri.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband Dan McBride; son Patrick Pace; daughter Ashley Pace; stepdaughters Andrea Robbins, Lauren (Jacob ) Bevill, Jenny McBride & Erin McBride; grandchildren Bunny, Ashley, Ariana & Avery Pace, and Chloe & Baylee Robbins; brothers Johnny (Tracy) Shaughnessy & Michael (Jen) Shaughnessy and sisters Colleen (Chris) Hibler & Regina (Carrol) Hillis. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Pat Shaughnessy and brother Joseph Shaughnessy, Jr.
Kathy was employed having a long career for over 30 years as a cake decorator for Schnucks stores & bakery plant and the McArthur’s Bakery in St. Louis. Our family is grateful to know that Kathy is at peace. She will be remembered and dearly missed by her family and friends.
In Kathy’s memory, at her request, a donation can be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital organization. A private ceremony for the immediate family will be held in the future.
