Ronald Dale Hemmer passed away on April 22, at the age of 85. Ron was born April 9, 1939 in Old Monroe to the late Carwin and Margie Hemmer nee Shannon.
Ron worked for General Motors for over 25 years. He married the love of his life Phyllis Tucker they celebrated 65 years together before her passing on October 4, 2023.
Ron loved spending time with his family, working on his property tending his acreage, cutting the grass and enjoying nature. He watched his favorite westerns on a daily basis. Enjoyed spending time with his buddies at Warrenton McDonalds catching up on the latest news. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Judy) Hemmer of Warrenton; sister, Judith Wagstaff of Arnold; granddaughter, Angela (Nick) Britt; grandson, Clint Hemmer; great-grandchildren, Lavender, Sapphire, Shane and Logan; 2 nephews, Alan and Jesse Wagstaff. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Phyllis Hemmer.
A visitation will be held Monday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home in Warrenton. The funeral will follow Monday, April 29 at 12 p.m.
