Bernard E. Ringling, Sr. "Bernie", of Warrenton, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, at the age of 89 years and 8 months. He was born on February 16, 1935 to the late Harry and Helen (nee: Schleper) Ringling in St. Louis.
Bernie was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dot; his parents, two brothers and one sister. Family members who will remain forever grateful for having shared in Bernie's life are his two children, Bernard Ringling Jr (Butch) of Warrenton and Barbara Ivancic of Lake St. Louis; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and close family friends, all of whom loved him very much.
Bernie's family will host a Celebration of Life visitation on Saturday, October 19, at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton from 11 A.M. - 1 P.M. A Celebration of Life Service will also be held on Saturday, October 19, beginning at 1 P.M. Memorial donations are suggested to be given to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association c/o Martin Funeral Home.
