The Warrenton wrestlers won four of five contested matches in their dual win over county foe Wright City last week.
Warrenton beat Wright City 71-6 in their dual match last week. Jeremiah Kassing, Noah Lohrmann, Matthew Schoen and Jacob Ruff each registered wins in the dual match for Warrenton. David Riggs was the lone Wright City wrestler to earn a win in the dual match.
Kassing, Schoen and Ruff earned wins by fall for the Warriors. Kassing pinned David Yates in 1:25, Schoen pinned Isaiah Yoder in 1:39 and Ruff pinned Cody Cushing in 1:29. Lohrmann beat Lane Graves on a technical fall 19-4. Riggs pinned David McCauley in less than one minute. Warrenton won eight matches by forfeit.
Warrenton split their other two dual matches in the quad meet last week.
The Warriors earned a 63-12 win over Lift for Life Academy Charter. Warrenton won four of six contested matches in the win. Jeremiah Kassing, Joshua Kassing, Anthony Lombardo and Ruff all earned wins for Warrenton.
Warrenton narrowly lost to Father Tolton Regional Catholic, falling to the Trailblazers 42-41. Despite losing the match, the Warriors went 6-4 in contested matches Manny McCauley, Jeremiah Kassing, Joshua Kassing Lucas Burroughs, Lohrmann and Ruff all earned wins for the Warriors.
Wright City split their matches against Father Tolton Regional Catholic High School and Lift for Life Academy. Wright City beat Lift for Life Academy 24-23. The Wildcats split the four contested matches against Lift for Life Academy. Lane Graves and Isaiah Yoder earned wins for the Wildcats.
