Two of the Warrenton residents were injured in the accident that took place Sunday afternoon.
Deanna Edwards, 35, and James McIntyre, 45, of Warrenton sustained moderate and minor injuries respectively when they struck the rear of the vehicle in front of them. Braedyn Weeke, 21, the driver of the other vehicle, also of Warrenton, was uninjured.
Both Edwards and McIntyre were transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis by the St. Charles Ambulance District according to the crash report.
Edwards' vehicle was damaged extensively and was removed from the scene by Superior Towing. Weeke's vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
