Walter Earl Schmierbach, of Wright City, formally of St. Charles, passed away on Friday, December 22, at his home. He was born on October 2, 1927, in St. Louis to the late John A. and Anna Louis (nee: Hornung) Schmierbach.
Walter was preceded in death by his first wife; his second wife; one daughter and daughter-in-law; three sisters; and one brother. Surviving family members are his children, Mark Schmierbach, Richard Schmierbach, and Michael Schmierbach; six grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other relatives and close family friends.
The family of Walter Schmierbach will host a Celebration of Life Visitation on Saturday, January 20, 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. There will also be a Celebration of Life Service on January 20, beginning at 12 P.M. with full military honors.
