Mrs. Vera Nadine Gordon (nee: Spires) of Jonesburg, passed away on Monday, January 16, at the age of 85. She was born on August 7, 1937, in Vandalia, to the late Ira K. and Minnie Lea (nee: Dillion) Spires.
She is survived by her four children, Cindy Smith, Karen Oxley, Stacy Prenger, Scott Gordon; seven grandchildren, and one brother, Clarence Spires.
A visitation for Mrs. Vera Gordon will be held on Sunday, January 22, at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton from 3 P.M. - 6 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 23, beginning at 10 A.M., and a burial will take place at Central Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Truxton.
