Officers responded to calls for a disturbance in Warren County on the morning of Sept. 3 where two victims accused Austin Rutledge, 23, of Truesdale, of breaking into their residence, assaulting one of the victims and damaging their property.
The victims accused Rutledge, along with three others who were not identified.
Rutledge has been charged with one county of burglary in the first degree, a felony.
According to the probable cause statement, the responding officer later located Rutledge and when questioned he admitted to his involvement and “explained the situation was some form of vigilantism for a family member.”
A warrant has been issued for Rutledge’s arrest and he is to be held with no bond.
