She pinned Blaiklee Cagle of Reeds Spring in the quarterfinals.  Hanff is scheduled to square off against Hailey Romero of Kearney Thursday in the championship semifinals.

Wright City senior David Riggs also won his final two matches to advance to the second day of the Class 2 boys wrestling tournament. After falling in his opening match against Troy Gustin of Pleasant Hill, Riggs earned wins over Dominic Ransom of Sullivan and Jackson Snider of Logan-Rogersville. Riggs is scheduled to face Grant VanHorn of Mexico in the third round wrestlebacks.

Ella Greenwell Washburn won a match in her first state appearance for the Lady Wildcats. The sophomore pinned Shauna Wilkson of Lafayette County in her first round wrestleback match. She fell to Brooklyn Gooding of Macon in her second round wrestleback match.
