Susana O. Nelson passed away on March 2, at the age of 78. Susana was born December 20, 1945 in Sanderson, TX to Roman, Sr. and Alicia Ochoa Gonzalez Chavez.
Susana is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years John Nelson of Warrenton; two sons, John (Sylvia) Nelson, Chris (CeLace) Nelson; five sisters, Lucy Gonzalez, Mary Alice (Jim) Hudson, Elva (Louie) Sanchez, Debra (Rene) Padilla, Sonya Chavez; 6 grandchildren, Alexander, Isaac, Brittany, Christopher, Maryah, Marisa; three great-grandsons, Cooper, Branton, August. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Roman Gonzalez, Sr., mother, Alicia Gonzalez, brother, Roman Gonzalez, brother, Raymond Gonzalez, brother, Stephen Gonzalez, sister, Esmeralda Cueller. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation was held Wednesday, March 6, at Warrenton Church of God in Warrenton and the funeral followed. Memorials can be made to the Warrenton Church of God.
