Steven Hollman of Lake Saint Louis, passed away on March 7, at the age of 81.

He was the beloved husband of Pam Hollman (nee: Harrison) of Lake Saint Louis; He is survived by his two sons, Steve Hollman of Big Lake, AK, Eric (Cheryl) Shelton of Ballwin; three daughters, Lauren (Robert) Hollman of Fremont, OH, Cindy (Vince) Hollman of Fenton, Mandy (Chris) Alexander of Lake St. Louis; three brothers, Dave (Raylene) Hollman of MI, Charlie Hollman, Tony Hollman of Alma, AR; two sisters, Barbara Deuser of Atlanta, GA, Linda (Eric) Rueder of Paris; five, grandchildren, Ava, Harrison, Clara, Jackson, Landon; He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony "Tony" J. Hollman, mother, Ruth M. Hollman (nee: Gray).

As a young boy, Steve had a paper route in North St. Louis. Steve attended Holy Rosary Elementary School in St. Louis and was in the class of 1960 at McCluer High School. He then attended Rankin technical college and graduated in 1964. Steve was a plumber by trade and a 60-year union member of local 562. He was a master handyman and built a dune buggy from scratch as well as a few homes. Steve worked hard to make his dream come true of becoming a pilot and ultimately buying his own airplane, a Beech Bonanza, with a home on a private air strip. He was an avid collector of vintage automobiles and memorabilia. Steve practiced and instructed the gentle sport of Judo. He also enjoyed traveling, sailing and fishing on the gulf coast of Florida. Steve loved his family and friends, especially his dog Sadie. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held  Wednesday, March 13, from 10 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville. The funeral will follow at 12:30 P.M. and interment at the Wright City Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
