Six Warriors named to district football team

Six Warrenton football players were named to the Class 4, District 5 football team. 

Four Warriors earned district honors on the offensive side of the ball. Quarterback Charlie Blondin was named to the district team at quarterback. Blondin threw for over 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns this past season after taking over the starting job midway through the season. He also rushed for 56 yards and three touchdowns. 

Sophomore Austin Haas was named to the district team at running back. Haas rushed for 1,167 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged over five yards per carry. 

Senior Colton Brosenne was named to the district team as a wide receiver. Brosenne hauled in 38 catches for 651 yards and nine touchdowns on the season. Jack Morris was named to the district team as an offensive lineman. 

Jacob Ruff and Kadin Stroer were named to the district team on the defensive side of the ball. Ruff was named to the team as a defensive lineman. Ruff registered 61 total tackles and six sacks. He also recovered two fumbles. 

Stroer was named to the district team as a linebacker. Stroer finished the season with 125 total tackles, including 72 solo tackles. He also had six sacks. He recovered one fumble.
