Wright City senior Jasmin Simpson was named to the Class 3, District 7 volleyball team.
Simpson led the Lady Wildcats in three different categories this season. She finished the season first on the team in aces, kills and blocks. She finished the season with 146 kills, 116 blocks and 36 aces.
Wright City lost to Kirksville in four sets in the first round of the district tournament.
The Lady Wildcats finished the season 10-16-2. Wright City’s 10 wins were the most by the Lady Wildcat volleyball team since they won 12 games in 2019.
