Pendleton "Ray" Dixon

Mr. Pendleton "Ray" Dixon of Jonesburg, by way of "West By God Virginia" as our uncle would say...passed away on Friday, March 8. He was born on April 10, 1930, in Albright, West Virginia to the late Jesse and Amy Dixon (nee: Bishop.) 

Ray is survived by his beloved wife, Betty; his loving children, Bonnie Hammond, Donna Schenewerk, Joe Dixon, Judy Avery, and Becky Logan; he is also the cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; dear siblings. Ray is preceded in death by his parents and 14 siblings. 

A visitation for Ray will be held from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16,  with a 10 a.m. Celebration of Life Service to immediately follow at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. Burial with full Military Honors will follow in the Warrenton City Cemetery. Memorial donations are appreciated to Wounded Warriors or St. Jude Children's Hospital in honor of Ray c/o Martin Funeral Home.
