The National Center for Community-Based Child Welfare is pleased to announce Carrie Bolm, MSW, as the new chief executive officer (CEO). The National Center for Community-Based Child Welfare, founded in 2018, is focused on promoting and supporting child welfare community-based services across the U.S.
Prior to her new position at The National Center, Bolm served as president and CEO of the Missouri Alliance for Children and Families for five years. With an extensive history in the field of child welfare, as the CEO of The National Center, Bolm will be responsible for leading the organization’s overall strategic direction with a robust membership of experienced child welfare professionals.
The National Center was officially formed by four leading-edge child welfare organizations from across the country: ACH Child and Family Services, Embrace Families, Missouri Alliance for Children and Families, and The Family Initiative, Inc. (TFI). Since 2018, the founding members have brought together child welfare leaders from across the country to share ideas and promote Community-Based Care (CBC).
The National Center will serve as a resource for other child welfare organizations, collaborating on best practices, promoting advocacy, and sharing knowledge to sustain and grow CBC programs.
Along with the founding members, the leaders of these respective organizations also helped launch the National Center:
