Mrs. Margaret "Peggy" Whelchel (nee: Utt) of Wright City, passed away on Monday, July 1, at Depaul Hospital. She was born March 25, 1946, in St. Charles, to the late Gene and Ruth (nee: Lane) Utt. Peggy had reached the age of 78 years.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Delbert; and one brother, Tommy Wayne Utt. Those who will remain grateful for having shared in Peggy's life are her loving children, JoAnna Hindman and Thomas "Mitch" Johnson, five beautiful grandchildren and several wonderful great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will host a visitation from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. Monday July 8, at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton, with a Celebration of Life service to immediately follow at 12 P.M. also at Martin Funeral Home. The burial will follow at Warrenton City Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to be made to PALS Animal Shelter, c/o Martin Funeral Home.
