March 6 is the deadline for residents to register to vote to be eligible to vote in the Tuesday, April 2 election.

Warren County residents who are not registered voters can register at the County Clerk’s office, at the Administration Building, 101 Mockingbird Lane, Ste 302, Warrenton, MO 63383, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Once registered, here’s how you can vote:

Option 1: Present one of the following forms of Valid ID:

A non-expired Missouri Driver or Non-Driver License

A non-expired Military ID, including a Veterans ID card

A non-expired United States Passport

Another photo ID issued by the United States or the State of Missouri which is either not expired or expired after the date of the most recent General Election

Option 2: If you are registered but have no ID, Vote a provisional ballot. There are two ways your vote counts:

If you return to your polling place on election day with a non-expired photo ID

If your signature matches the signature in the voter registry, your vote counts

Registered voters who have changed their addresses must also update their registrations before Election Day to avoid any inconvenience. Information on voter registration can be obtained by calling the County Clerk’s office at 636-456-3331.

If you want a photo ID to vote and don’t have one, the Missouri Secretary of State’s Office will help you obtain one non-driver license for free. You may call the ShowIt2Vote Hotline toll free at 866-868-3245 or email GoVoteMissouri@sos.mo.gov for help.
