What part of “no” does the (Warrenton) fire board not understand? The people have clearly spoken on more than enough ballots. The board needs to look to cost control, not taxation.
The fire permitting on a new home here is atrocious. When I recently was required to get a permit, I was stunned at the cost and stated then that never would I vote for a rate increase for the fire board.
Get a manager that will control cost. That is the answer.
