To the Editor,
Our small businesses in Warren County are amazing and do not get enough credit. The independent business owners who work here, live here, and strive to enrich other local businesses and our community’s activities, which form the backbone of our community. You don’t see large mega-corporations supporting local causes, or donating directly to them like our locally owned businesses do, or caring enough to give back to the communities that support them.
No one else is as much a part of our community, or cares as much, as our local business owners. I think a great way to show thanks to these businesses is to feature them in the paper more often. Showing people what these businesses do for us is a great way to give back to these businesses by giving them more publicity, and making people more aware of their contributions.
Small businesses provide so much for us, it would do us good to give back even in something as simple as featuring their efforts in the paper from time to time.
