The Kiwanis Sports Closet in Wright City, which offers new or gently used sports equipment for free to youth of all ages, needs help to stock its shelves for the upcoming season of baseball and softball.
The Kiwanis Sports Closet is located at 100 West North Second Street, Suite B, in Wright City. The Sports Closet relies on the generous donations from people and businesses in the community to provide sports equipment and footwear at no charge to help all youth to participate in sports.
With preparations for the baseball/softball season nearly here, the Sports Closet is looking for more equipment such as baseball gloves and mitts or other baseball/softball equipment. Kiwanis wants to be prepared for the kids that will be coming for help finding their equipment so they can participate with their teams.
To donate equipment, either call 636-235-2086 or go to the Kiwanis Sports Closet location and put your donations into the box in front of the store.
