Jerry Lynn Fowler, Hawk Point, was born to Gerallee and Rosella (Campbell) Fowler on September 8, 1950 in Springfield.

Jerry graduated from Hillcrest High School, Springfield, in 1968. Following graduation Jerry worked several jobs, including Zenith and eventually made his career with Southwestern Bell in Springfield (later to become AT&T). He advanced to management with SWBC in Springfield, worked in Kansas City and eventually St. Louis. He took early retirement in 2000.

Jerry married Brenda Chambers in 1973. They have 2 sons, Brian Emery and Michael Darin. After retirement Jerry enjoyed working part time, golfing, fishing and puttering on the “farm”. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his sons out in his shop working on projects or riding for miles with them on motorcycles.

Jerry passed on February 4, at the age of 73, after a lengthy illness with PSP disease. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Fowler; sons, Brian Emery Fowler and Michael Darin Fowler; Mother, Rosella Fowler and brothers, Gene Allen Fowler and Ronald Dean Fowler.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jerry in Springfield,  at the American Legion Post 639, 2660 South Scenic, on March 2, from noon to 4 p.m.
