Cheryl Shepard passed away on July 18, at St. Louis University Hospital at the age of 69. Cheryl was born December 1, 1954 in Washington, MO to the late Carl Edward and Fern Marion Pettig nee Wandrei.
Cheryl was a longtime local pharmacy technician. She loved going to her weekly bowling leagues, was an avid reader, and enjoyed playing golf. She was a longtime member of Frieden's UCC in Warrenton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Barbara DeLeon, and brother, Carl "Eddie" Pettig.
She is survived by her daughter, Tonia Shepard ; son-in-law, Angel DeLeon; two brothers, Rick Pettig, Larry Pettig; sister, Susie E. (Tony) Rowan; her beloved 5 grandchildren, Monica, Andrew, Dion, D'Marion, and Ava; 3 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Lucian, and Lyrical; Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Visitation will be, Thursday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home in Warrenton. The funeral will follow at 12 p.m. Burial at Wright City Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Kidney Foundation in care of Pitman Funeral Home.
