Mr. Allan Miller, of Warrenton, passed away on Thursday, July 18. He was born on April 15, 1936, in University City, MO to the late Allan and Viola (nee: Vollmer) Miller. Allan had reached the age of 88 years.
Allan was united in marriage to Sharon Morr on November 19, 1955, in St. Louis. To this union, four children were born. They spent 53 wonderful years together before her passing in 2008. He was employed as a painter and enjoyed his job very much. In his spare time, he enjoyed organic gardening and playing golf. He enjoyed riding his bike and rode the Katy Trail in Marthasville a couple of times. He also enjoyed camping trips, canoeing, kayaking and his many trips to Florida. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Allan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many.
Allan Miller was preceded in death by his loving wife Sharon; his parents, Allan and Viola; one brother, Jerry Miller. He is survived by his children, Michael Miller and wife Tammy, Denise Sagez and husband Randy, Bradley Miller and wife Lynn and Marty Miller and wife Becky; 10 grandchildren, Jason Miller (Nicole), Mandi Cawthon (Eric), Nick Sagez (Jill), Vince Sagez (Victoria), Levi Miller (Jennifer), Luke Miller (Beth), Catlyn Miller (Lesley), Sean Miller (Jessica), Matt Almond, Truly Chastain (Dave); 23 great grandchildren; two sisters, Dot Steckert and Marlene Ebel; other relatives and many friends.
A visitation for Mr. Allan Miller will be held on Tuesday, July 23, at Martin Funeral Home from 4 P.M. - 7 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, beginning at 10 A.M. also at the funeral home. A private burial will follow.
