Patricia Ruth (Sullivan) Zuroweste

Patricia Ruth (Sullivan) Zuroweste, a realtor and long-time resident of Warrenton, MO died January 1, 2021.

Pat was born in St. Louis on August 8, 1931, the oldest daughter of Charles and Dorothy Sullivan. She graduated from Ferguson High School in 1949. On April 19, 1952, she married Herbert W. Zuroweste.

In 1964, she moved to Warrenton with her family where she became involved in the community. Pat was an active member of Holy Rosary Church where she played the organ and lead RCIA classes for numerous years. In her 50 plus years in Warrenton, she participated in a wide variety of organizations including the Library Board, Turning Point Domestic Shelter, Realtors Association, PTA, and several business councils. Pat enjoyed bowling, reading, listening to big band music, fishing, playing the piano, and knitting. She was a real estate agent and co-owner of Evans-Zuroweste Realty. One of her favorite parts of her job was walking in the woods as she looked at property lines.

Her family includes Gail (Paul) Stivers, Owen (Sue) Zuroweste, Bryan Zuroweste-deceased, Gordon (Lane) Zuroweste, and Ellen (Terrel) Schimpf, 12 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren; sisters Alice Stephens and Dorothy Sullivan; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial mass will be planned at later date.

At Pat’s request memorial gifts may be given to St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, 221 First Capitol Dr, St. Charles, MO 63301.
