With Thanksgiving on the horizon, the Liberty Christian Academy girls basketball team has been feasting on the opposition.
The Eagles carved up Christian Fellowship 58-24 in Columbia Tuesday to complete a stretch of four wins in six days. And amazing enough, that’s their closest contest of the season as they’re averaging nearly 76 points per game, while allowing only 22 en route to a fantastic 7-0 start.
The Eagles get to enjoy a bit of a break after the hectic stretch, but will look to make it 8-0 when they host Fulton on Monday.
Eight players put points on the boards for LCA with sophomore forward Adison Roden going 6-for-12 from the 3-point line to notch a game-high 20 points. She was also big on the boards with nine rebounds.
Fellow sophomore post Andrea Mueller had six points, six rebounds and six steals. Gracie Foran chipped in with six points and Allie Meyer, Annabeth Colbert and Sophie Mueller had four points apiece.
LCA led 20-11 after the opening period, 31-23 at halftime and 48-32 after the third.
Christian Fellowship dropped to 4-2 with the setback.
