Henry "Hank" Phillips

Henry "Hank" Phillips passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 89. Hank was born September 2, 1931, in St. Louis, MO to Henry G and Pearl Phillips nee Schaffer.

Henry was united in marriage to Mary Catherine Sims on November 24, 1951, and they celebrated 69 years and 4 months together. Hank served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Hank worked for McDonnell Douglas for 35 years and has been happily retired for the last 31 years. Hank was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Hank truly cherished his beloved wife and family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife Mary "Kate" Catherine Phillips nee Sims of Warrenton, MO; four children, Karen Ann (Roger) Clarke, son, Kenny Bryan (Beth) Phillips, Mary Kay (Bill) Laingen, and Kittie Lee (Mike) Brewer; sister, Joyce Johnson; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry G. and Pearl Phillips, grandson, Eric Harrison, a great-grandson, Roman.

Visitation services will be held Friday, April 9, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Warrenton, MO 63383.

A funeral will be held Friday, April 9, 2021, at 11:00 am, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Warrenton.

Interment will follow at National Cemetery, Saint Louis MO.

Memorials can be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society or Warren County Senior Center in care of Pitman Funeral Home P.O. Box 126 Warrenton, MO 63383.
