Truesdale aldermen approved an agreement to bring Legynds 77 to next year’s Railroad Days: Summerfest event.
Aldermen approved the agreement by a vote of 4-0.
Legynds 77 is a Lynyrd Skynrd tribute band. According to the group’s website, they are a 10-piece tribute band that “embodies the true essence of Ronnie Van Zant and his fellow Lynyrd Skynyrd band mates.”
The band says its mission is to provide patrons with an “honest and nostalgic ‘Skynyrd’ experience with every note.”
The Railroad Days: Summerfest event is scheduled for June 1, 2024, at Bruer Park.
